Expo 2020 Dubai launches its own passport

Expo 2020 Dubai today announced its special passport, which will allow residents of the UAE and its international visitors alike to “travel” around the world and celebrate their world tour while exploring the more than 200 pavilions participating in the international event.

The Expo passport will encourage visitors to see as many pavilions as possible during the 182-day event, and will also allow them to relive their experiences after their visit.

The distinguished “Expo” passport was created at “Expo Montreal 67”, and since then it has become one of the most famous World Expo souvenirs for visitors wishing to keep a record of all that they visit from the pavilions of different countries, and collect entry stamps for these pavilions as a souvenir for them.

“Expo 2020 Dubai” explained in a statement, the design of the new passport was inspired by the heritage of the UAE, to link between the past and the present, noting that it looks like an official passport, and it consists of 50 pages containing designs and pictures of the three themes pavilions (The World of Opportunities – Opportunities Pavilion, Alef – Mobility Pavilion, Terra – Sustainability Pavilion), in addition to Al Wasl Square – the beating heart of the “Expo” site – as well as other landmarks in Dubai and the UAE.
