Emirates ID cards updates: GCC citizens do not need a passport to come to the UAE – gcc nationals can now enter uae using their id cards only

UAE: Citizens of GCC countries no longer need a passport to enter the UAE. A person from any country can enter the UAE using the National Identity Card of that country. Since yesterday, the GCC has tightened the rules to allow citizens to enter the UAE. It is now possible to enter the UAE using the national identity card of the respective country.

The new system will make it easier for people from other countries to enter the UAE. The most important thing is that the waiting time for emigration will be reduced. The new law was welcomed by all. Necessary legal action was taken by the Federal Authority for Identity Citizenship and Port Security. Saudi Arabia has taken similar steps to allow citizens of GCC countries to enter the country using a national identity card.

Meanwhile, the validity of the Green Pass for access to government offices in the UAE has been increased from 14 days to 30 days. This was reported by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources. A circular to this effect has been issued to all Government Institutions and Ministries. Abu Dhabi has eased restrictions in the event of a coup. The exemption was announced in such a way that 100 per cent of the people could attend the entertainment and other functions.
