The Emirates Gate Investment Group (EGI) intends to support the State of Senegal to carry out the 100,000 housing program. Thus, the Minister of Urban Planning and his delegation went to Abu Dhabi to set up a joint program monitoring committee. On this occasion, EGI is committed to building 50,000 housing units in Senegal, including 30,000 units in two years, as part of the 100,000 housing project to reduce Senegal’s deficit in social housing.
Senegal will be represented in this Abu Dhabi Accord Monitoring Committee by its Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, by the Director General of Construction and Housing of the Ministry of Urban Planning, Housing and Public hygiene and by the Director General of Cooperation and External Financing of the Ministry of the Economy.
