The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai is launching a new bus service to the Emirates’ internal transport lines, called No. / F57 /. It is one of the bus lines that supplies metro stations and connects Jebel Ali Metro Station with Blue Waters Island, with a train time of every 30 minutes during peak hours.
Adel Shakri, director of the planning and business development department at the Danish Transport and Road Administration, explained that the goal of launching the line is to improve and develop the integration between transport planning and urban planning in the emirate, and noted that this line will operate from Jebel Ali Metro Station to Blue Waters Island.
He pointed out that the authority attaches great importance to the summer season and seeks every year to strengthen the public bus network in Dubai by improving bus schedules and pick-up times, in addition to launching new routes based on studies related to the growing demand for service, especially at this time. i.e. with approaching the summer holidays to meet the public’s need for transportation by bus.
