Dubai Comedy Festival: Indian actor-comedian Vir Das’s show rescheduled to May 19

Vir Das’s show will be held on 19th May, at Agenda Dubai. The actor-comedian is coming to Dubai as a part of his THE WANTED TOUR.

The show was supposed to be on 13th May, but after the sad news of UAE’s President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan’s demise, a number of cultural events and shows were postponed.

The Dubai Comedy Festival and the Culture Summit of Abu Dhabi were among the events canceled.

On Friday, the Ministry of Presidential Affairs announced 40 days of mourning. The work in the public and private sectors was also suspended for 3 days- Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

The shows of Jo Koy, Vir Das, and The Comedy Bizarre at the Dubai Comedy Festival were postponed till May 16.

Today on Twitter Vir Das announced his return for the show, “ Alright Dubai. The show has been rescheduled to the 19th. So flying back to you tomorrow. Very happy we were able to make this happen, see you at the show.”

Apart from the Vir Das, catch Shaden Fakih, Chaker Bou Abdalla, and Nour Hajjar at The Theater Mall of the Emirates on May 20 for their third show at Dubai Comedy Festival.

Vir Das’s The Wanted India Tour will begin on 20th May to 26th June.

The previous show ticket holders can retain their tickets and the new sale for the tickets will be announced soon.
