Dubai: Closure of DXB’s runway shifts capacity to DWC

From now on and continuing through 22 June this year Dubai International Airport’s (DXB) northern runway will be closed for a comprehensive upgrade. During this time, Dubai World Central (DWC) will handle more than 1000 flights per week.

The guest experience and service touchpoints will be re-opended and the facilities, such as restaurants, cafes, and retail outlets, will be ready to welcome customers.

Business travellers to and from Dubai are asked to check with their respective airlines in advance if their flight will take off from DXB or DWC.
