COVID-19: Property investment still profitable in Dubai

One of the leading real estate consulting firms in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) based in Dubai, Middle East Harvesters (MEH), has said despite the downturn in the global economy caused by the coronavirus pandemic, property investment in the summer city is still profitable.

A managing partner of MEH,  the Nigerian-born Emmanuel Agbangbe, in an interview on WhatsApp, gave lots of reasons why property investment in Dubai is still highly profitable.

He stressed that buying a property in Dubai remains significantly cheaper compared to other major cities in the world.

“The recently introduced ten-year UAE property owner’s visa and retirement visa programmes is a significant benefit for those looking for a residence.

“Besides, the zero taxation policy of the government of UAE is an incentive that property investors should not discountenance,” he said.

Agbangbe who assured that MEH’s team of experts is committed to fast, professional and courteous service in the real estate sector, added that Dubai is one of the safest cities in the world since it is an ideal location for property investment.

He said the upcoming Expo 2021, scheduled to begin in October 2021, would attract well over 25m visitors and tourists, bringing along with them billions of dollars in foreign investments, urging Nigerians to take advantage of the opportunity and make their presence felt in the sector.

Speaking further, he said the never-ending summer, diversity in its expatriate population and the local currency, Dirhams, pegged to the USD, eliminating all forms of FOREX risks, guarantee a return on investment in the property market in Dubai.

“Our professional team has established a diversified client base in the UAE region and has established long-term relationships with major international and local banks, master and secondary developers, large financial houses, and private or public investors. This positions our company in the forefront with a strong ability to advise and assist clients towards investor success in the property market in the Middle East and UAE in particular.

“We help our clients invest in the finest properties for resale. Our team of property consultants advises our investors on the right buying opportunity to maximise return on investments.

“As a real estate consulting company in Dubai, we have a wide network of real estate agents and brokers across the UAE, who help our landlords find quality tenants(Interested in short or long term lease arrangements) for their apartments, villas or offices,” he added.
