Dubai’s Burj Al Arab Jumeirah is introducing a new hotel tour, Inside Burj Al Arab, on October 15, giving visitors the chance to explore the iconic property in the company of butler-guides.
Guests on the tours will explore the famous hotel atrium, Sahn Eddar, visit the Royal Suite and learn more about the history of the Burj Al Arab and wider Dubai through interactive, augmented reality displays.
They will also be able to see original architectural designs and mementos, including the decks from David Guetta’s United at Home lockdown performance earlier this year.
For an extra cost, visitors can also sample the hotel’s famous 24-carat Ultimate Gold Cappucino, experience the property’s signature afternoon tea, visit new outdoor venue UMA or book a meal at one of the hotel’s restaurants.
The launch coincides with Dubai’s Expo 2020, which was postponed from last year and is running from now until March 31, 2022 with pavilions, performances and events themed around “sustainability, mobility and opportunity”.
“We are delighted to announce the opening of Inside Burj Al Arab, especially with all eyes on Dubai as it stages the ’The World’s Greatest Show’ with Expo 2020,” said Ermanno Zanini, regional vice president and general manager of Burj Al Arab Jumeirah.
“It is the perfect opportunity to give residents and visitors the chance to experience the wonders of this world-famous landmark first-hand.
“Providing a stunning window into the world of Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, the tour will appeal to those intrigued by its story, not just of the building, but of its people, creativity, and ingenuity, as well as its Emirati hospitality, Arabian opulence and world-class service.”
Tickets are now on sale for the tours at insideburjalarab.com or from the ticketing office at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. They will take place every 15 minutes from 9.30am to 8.30pm in groups of up to 12, with prices from AED 399 (£80).
