(ANSAmed) – NAPLES, JANUARY 26 – The new amusement park in
Abu Dhabi, Al Qana, is nearly ready, with a 2.4-km area to
provide visitors with a wide range of entertainment.
Al Barakah International Investment, the developer of the
project, said the project is 90% complete and despite the
difficult time, it will be completed on schedule.
Facing the sea, Al Qana will include the National Aquarium,
the Middle East’s largest aquarium, The Bridge Wellness and
Lifestyle Hub, Cinemacity Al Qana, Pixel (e-sports and gaming
area), and visitors will be able to have a special day with
infinite options for dining and relaxation.
Commenting on progress regarding Al Qana and the situation of
the market, Al Barakah International Investment CEO Fouad Mashal
said, “Al Qana is our ultimate touristic project that will
provide a very unique experience we all envision for the
entertainment and tourism sectors in the UAE. As the tourism
sector recovers from the travel restrictions due to the
pandemic, Al Qana would be ready to receive visitors in 2021.
The project is almost done and it will be inaugurated during an
important year, in which the United Arab Emirates will celebrate
their 50th anniversary. Our top priority is to adapt to the new
social norms in place to ensure the safety of visitors. Our team
is working on new protocols and procedures with the authorities
to ensure that guidelines are rigorously applied”.
The Al Qana team worked 24 hours a day to complete this
ambitious project on time and deliver it to the capital of the
United Arab Emirates.
The National Aquarium is 95% complete, the Al Qana Cinema
facility is 85% complete, managers of the food and beverage
locations are preparing to assign workers, 85% of construction
work on The Bridge Wellness facility is complete, and the port
area of the Marina is ready.(ANSAmed).
