H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, affirmed that “Expo 2020 Dubai” embodies the aspirations of the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf towards a promising and prosperous future.
His Highness said: “Today, at Expo 2020 Dubai, our hearts converge on love, brotherhood and cooperation to work together to consolidate the positive global reputation of the GCC countries and achieve comprehensive and sustainable development for our peoples.”
This came during his visit to a number of the pavilions of the Gulf countries participating in “Expo 2020 Dubai”.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan began his tour by visiting the pavilion of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is located in the “Opportunities” area of Expo 2020 Dubai.
His Highness praised the Saudi participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, which constitutes a qualitative addition to this prominent global event.
His Highness was acquainted with the inspiring experiences that the pavilion offers to the visitors, informing them about the future of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its innovative and qualitative projects that reflect its unlimited ambition to achieve a prosperous and sustainable future for the brotherly Saudi people under the guidance and care of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During his visit to the pavilion, His Highness was also acquainted with a number of projects implemented by the State of Qatar and its preparations to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup, expressing his best wishes to sisterly Qatar during hosting this prominent global sporting event.
His Highness visited the pavilion of the sisterly State of Kuwait, which is the largest in terms of size and area in the history of its participation in World Expos.
During his visit to the pavilion located in the “Sustainability” area of Expo 2020 Dubai and bearing the slogan “New Kuwait, New Opportunities for Sustainability”, His Highness learned about the inspiring messages that the pavilion embodies, most notably the aspirations of the sisterly State of Kuwait to establish a sustainable future for future generations, in line with the vision of “New Kuwait 2035”. .
His Highness, while watching the huge panoramic screen that tops the pavilion, was briefed on the important stations in the history of the sisterly State of Kuwait and its participation in the World Expos, praising its keenness to be present in the international event hosted by the UAE with the most prominent pavilion in the history of its participation.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited the pavilion of the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, which is located in the “mobility” area of Expo 2020 Dubai.. Expressing his admiration for the dazzling design of the pavilion, which was inspired by one of the icons of nature, the “frankincense” tree, to express the originality of the Omani heritage and also embodies in its five sections a cycle The life of the frankincense tree based on the three sub-themes of Expo 2020 Dubai: sustainability, opportunity and mobility.
During the visit, His Highness was briefed on the contents of the pavilion and the programs it implements, which reflect the features of the “Oman 2040” vision and its aspirations for the future.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during his visit to the pavilion of the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, which is located in the “Opportunities” area of Expo 2020 Dubai, was acquainted with the outstanding views of the pavilion on the cultural, historical and economic elements that the Kingdom enjoys from the perspective of density, where the Kingdom of Bahrain is known as one of the Countries with the highest rates of population density, which contributes to creating promising opportunities for achieving sustainable development.
