In Côte d’Ivoire, where more than three quarters of the population is under 35, employment and professional integration of young people are major concerns for the country.

With 300,000 to 400,000 young people arriving each year on the job market, demographic pressure is too strong for a rent economy which creates few jobs.

The health crisis and its consequences have also exacerbated the vulnerabilities of this youth.

Precarious and informal jobs without matching their training, lack of technical skills and self-confidence, young people are not well equipped to face a complex world of work.

However, their talents, especially in digital, could constitute immense potential.
