The results of the presidential elections in Nigeria


10:00 GMT: All provisions have been put in place for the announcement of the results of the presidential elections held across the thirty-six (36) states of the country, Saturday, February 23, 2019. Beginning the process with the state of Ekiti: the electoral commissioner of the state of Ekiti in southwestern Nigeria has announced the results of the presidential state.

According to him, the political movement APC emerged victorious with a total of 219,231 votes while the opposition PDP, the democratic party of the people obtained a total of 154,034 votes. The announcement was made at the compilation center in Abuja.

State of Osun: Professor Olusegun Agbaje, Electoral Commissioner announced the results. The total number of votes cast was 714,682. The APC presidential movement gathered a total of 347,634 votes and the Democratic People's Party 337,377 votes in total. More than twelve thousand votes were canceled due to an excessive vote, according to the commissioner.
