Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is expected Thursday night at the Rabat-Salé airport from Algiers, where he made a two-day visit (Wednesday and Thursday).
On the agenda of the visit of the head of the Russian diplomacy, talks scheduled this Friday, January 25 with his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita, around bilateral relations and "regional and international current issues."
This visit is part of a Maghreb tour that will eventually lead Sergei Lavrov in Tunisia, before heading back to the 28th current in Algiers, where he will co-chair with his counterpart Abdelkader Messahel the work of the Algerian Joint Economic Committee. -Russian.
The Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement in which it indicates that the Sahara issue is one of the regional issues to be discussed with the head of the Russian diplomacy.
