The Crédit Agricole Group of Morocco was once again named "Best Development Finance Institution" in 2018 for the African continent by the Association of African Development Finance Institutions (AIAFD).
AADFI is an international organization created under the auspices of the African Development Bank (AfDB) in 1975, bringing together banks and financial institutions involved in financing development for the public and private sectors in Africa.
This distinction, obtained for the third time in a row and which places the Crédit Agricole Group of Morocco at the top of the African financing and development institutions, devotes the Group's business model and its ability to support, through innovative and adapted systems, the all components of the agricultural and rural world and in particular the most vulnerable.
Indeed, in a decade, the Crédit Agricole Group of Morocco went from a specialized financial institution to a banking group firmly anchored in the Moroccan financial landscape with the specific characteristic of having developed support tools and dedicated financing vehicles. to all segments of activity and in particular responding to the specific needs of small-scale agriculture and the rural world.
The Group adds that the success of its business model is also the result of a shared vision and collective mobilization in the framework of the Green Morocco Plan (PMV) and its various components.
Crédit Agricole du Maroc has thus supported the different axes of the PMV by deploying specific and adapted products for each of the sectors identified under the first pillar advocating the development of modern agriculture with high added value and high productivity.
The GCAM has also innovated by setting up dedicated structures to meet the objectives of the second pillar of the PMV with regard to solidarity support for small-scale farming.
