The Alliance for Change (APC), a civil society movement whose mission is to work for a change of mentalities in Côte d'Ivoire, meets on Saturday in Abidjan, in "extraordinary General Assembly" for to form a political party.
According to the president of this movement, Alphonse Tiornan Soro, this Extraordinary General Assembly will be held around the theme, "the CPA facing the 2020 political challenges", with the participation of nearly 600 delegates.
After this constitution as a political party, the APC will support the candidature of the former President of the National Assembly who resigned, Guillaume Kigbafori Soro to the presidential elections of 2020 in Côte d'Ivoire.
Former MP Alphonse Tiornan Soro, is currently close to Guillaume Kigbafori Soro, after resigning from his position as Advisor to the Ivorian Prime Minister, Amadou Gon Coulibaly.
This party will be, the second support for Guillaume Kigbafori Soro in two weeks, after the Rally for the Ivory Coast (RACI), a political movement that was transformed last Saturday, February 16 into a social democratic political party.
