In this second meeting in Burundi, in East Africa, with Emilie Venner, project coordinator for JRS (Jesuit Refugee Service) we will visit the Batwa, nicknamed the Pygmies of Burundi because of their small size . They live in small houses of earth and bamboo …. the bricks, they manufacture them but resell them. July (Djouly) Indo-Burundian will take us on a boat on Lake Tanganyika, the longest freshwater lake in the world. We will finally taste the cuisine of Mama Solo, one of the good restaurants of Bujumbura the capital.
