ALGIERS – The 9th session of the Algerian-Russian Intergovernmental Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation, Scientific and Technical Trade will be held from 28 to 30 January 2019 in Moscow (Russia), the Ministry of Finance said in a statement on Monday.
Minister of Finance Aderrahmane Raouya travels to Russia to co-chair with Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak the work of this session, which will be held on 28-29 January at the expert level and on 30 January at level of ministers, the statement said.
According to the same source, this meeting will review the cooperation relations that bind the two countries and take stock of the state of implementation of the recommendations recorded in the minutes of the 8th session that had taken place. in Algiers from 18 to 20 September 2017.
It will also be used, continues the same source, to identify new actions to stimulate a new dynamic in bilateral multisectoral cooperation. The holding of this session of the Joint Commission is an extension of the official visit to Algeria on January 23 and 24, 2019 of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergei Lavrov, said the same source.
Moreover, it is noted in the communiqué that the Algerian delegation led by Mr. Raouya is composed of representatives of various ministries and other institutions.
