Abu Dhabi Chamber organizes a seminar in Korea on investing in Abu Dhabi

he Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Korean International Trade Association (KITA), have organized a seminar in the Korean Capital Seoul on investment opportunities in Abu Dhabi. 

More than 120 Korean companies and SMEs attended the seminar along the Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD) and the Industry Development Office at the Department of Economic Development Abu Dhabi (DED).

Mr. Abdullah Ghurair Al Quabisi, Deputy Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, said during the seminar that organizing the seminar comes within the strategy of the Abu Dhabi Chamber to support and strengthen trade cooperation relations and to promote the many investment opportunities available in Abu Dhabi and to encourage bilateral trade and Foreign Direct Investments between both economies.

Mr.Al Quabisi added that the seminar aims at shedding light on the most promising projects in Abu Dhabi considering its advanced legislative and financial systems noting that the government of Abu Dhabi built free zones such as the Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD)

The Deputy Director General pointed out that the Abu Dhabi Chamber has established a very strong relationship with the business sector in Korea. “In 2015, The Chamber established a representative office in Seoul to provide Korean businesses wishing to invest in Abu Dhabi with the necessary support and information of the available investment opportunities in the emirate; in addition to advising Emirati businessmen of the investment and trade opportunities available in Korea,” he said.

Al Quabisi expressed high hopes that the seminar will strengthen the relationship between Abu Dhabi and Korea further more.

For his part, Mr. Tiger Minsok Chu, Director / Asia and Middle East Department at KITA, praised the seminar, pointing to its success in informing Korean investors with the distinguished investment opportunities in Abu Dhabi, expressing his hopes for more trade and investment cooperation relations and more joint projects.
